Adjective Definition:
An adjective is a word used for qualifying the meaning of a noun or pronoun.
Example:
A strong man killed a big tiger. the word "Strong" and big are Adjectives.
Kinds of Adjectives:
There are eight types of adjectives detail is given below;
- Proper Adjectives
- Adjectives of Quality
- Adjectives of Quantity
- Adjectives of Number
- Demonstrative Adjectives
- Distributive Adjectives
- Interrogative Adjectives
- Possessive Adjectives
1. Proper Adjectives:
Pakistani, English, Indian etc.
2. Adjectives of Quality:
Brave, Black, large, Beautiful.
3. Adjectives of Quantity:
much, little, no, some, any, enough, sufficient, all, whole, half.
4. Adjectives of Number:
One, Two, Three, First, Second, third.
5. Demonstrative Adjectives:
This, that, these, those.
6. Distributive Adjectives:
Every, each, either, neither.
7. Interrogative Adjectives :
What, which, whose ete.
8. Possessive Adjectives:
My, our, your, her, his, their, its. ect.
