For example: Teacher, Table, Pen, Girl etc.

5. abstract noun

1. Proper noun:

A proper noun is a noun that denotes one particular person or thing distinct from every other.

Example:

Ali, Lahore, Pakistan, India etc.

2. Common Noun:

A common noun is a noun that denotes a general or common person or thing.

Example:

Man, city, Country, table, book.

3. Material noun:

A noun that denotes the matter or substance of which things are made.

Example: water, milk, silver, gold, cotton, wheat.

4. Collective noun:

A noun that denotes a group or collection.

Example:

Army, Jury, police, class, party etc.

5. Abstract noun:

A Noun that denotes some quality, state or action.

Example: Cleverness, youth, laughter etc.
